Located in the heart of the Performing  Arts Hub of Singapore, our premises are ideally placed for concerts, lectures, art galleries ,libraries, museums, shows, theatre and of course, shopping !  

Our Directors, Andrew Wilkinson & Margaret E Park have developed an exciting new look at Teaching and Performing Courses , to stimulate aspiring musicians and dramatists and help students to realize their true potential in the Performing Arts


A&M Wilkinson School of Music & Drama Centre P/L was originally formed in 1999 , has Courses to Professional Levels, now approved by Committee for Private Education ( CPE ) in Singapore.with a Four year Registration.

The Founders & Directors are BBC Recording Artist , Andrew Wilkinson , formerly Director of Examinations & Chief Examiner of the London College of Music, and his wife,  Margaret E. Park, who was at that time Chief Examiner in Music & Speech of the LCM (Asia-Pacific).

The Honorary President of the School is Nina Walker FRMCM, formerly CHORUS MASTER of  the Royal Opera House , Covent Garden,  & Accompanist to such great Artistes as Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti & Montserrat Caballe . Ms Walker has given Master Classes to aspiring artists at the School.

Dr. Lee Wai Peng, formerly Sub-Dean of the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and Lecturer in Mass Communications as well as former vocal student of this school joins Andrew & Margaret Wilkinson to form our Academic Board


Andrew Wilkinson – Biographical Details

Andrew Wilkinson has had a varied career which covers the whole range of Performing Arts .
As a pianist he obtained the Lloyd Webber Gold medal for the highest ever award at Fellowship examination of the London College of Music at the age of eighteen . He continued his studies at the Royal Northern College of Music with the late professor Gordon Green OBE, and at the Royal Academy of Music with Ruth Harte FRAM, where he won the Naissmith and Hornsby scholarships for three years postgraduate study , culminating in the award of the highest professional diploma awarded by the Academy .

As a soloist and accompanist he performed in numerous recitals on the South Bank , Manchester Mid-day concerts , and broadcasts on BBC Radio 3  with great acclaim from the National Press . Subsequently he was appointed Professor of Pianoforte, Musicianship & Speech Subjects at the London College of Music where he subsequently became Senior Examiner , Chief Examiner  and Director of Examinations .
He has always been interested in Speech & Drama , obtaining the LAMDA Gold Medal in the Speaking of Verse & Prose with Honours together with the LLCM Teachers Diploma in Speech & Drama, He successfully completed a Teacher Training course in Music & English at the Roehampton Institute of Education and was appointed  Professor of Speech Subjects and Chief Examiner  in Music & Speech subjects at the London College of Music.
As an accompanist , he has worked with some of Europe’s finest singers , and has coached professionally for operas and musicals in London. He has a fine Baritone voice – and was frequently employed by choral societies in the U.K. as soloist for opera and oratorio . He was tutor of piano & singing for five years at Frances Holland Church of England School , London , and taught singing in the extra- mural department of the LCM.
His work in Music & Theatre was recognised by the British Federation of Festivals in Music ,Dance & Drama , when he was invited to join the adjudication panels for Music & Drama , and was involved  in the adjudicator’s training programme . He was awarded an Honorary Membership Diploma of the London College of Music , and Honorary Fellowship Diploma of the Victoria College of Music , London, for his services to the arts.

Margaret E. Park–   Biographical Details

Trained initially as a pianist by Victor Doggett FRCM in Singapore – Margaret E. Park obtained her LRSM Performers Diploma before attending the Royal Northern College of Music on a scholarship to study with the late Professor Gordon Green OBE., Hon.MA., FRMCM.., HonRAM, and Derrick Wyndham FRNCM .

After Graduating she discovered her voice which led her into a career as a professional opera and oratorio singer , obtaining teachers and performers diplomas in the subject , as well as the Fellowship Diploma of the London College of Music in Acting . She was honoured to perform the solos in Handel’s Messiah in  the presence of  the President of Singapore at the World Trade Centre with Paul Abisheganaden conducting , and has performed in numerous recitals at such prestigious venues in Singapore  as the Japanese Association , Eden Hall, the Young Musicians Society  as well as in UK, Asia, Australasia and Europe.

Margaret initiated a Musical Theatre programme in over forty Singapore Primary & Secondary schools, including Raffles Girls' Primary School and Methodist Girls School which has operated for over 10 years. She has also produced full scale productions for CHIJ Toa Payoh at the Drama Centre which performed for the First Lady of Singapore, for the joint ITE production at the University Cultural Centre and for other schools at the Victoria Theatre Singapore.

Her accomplishments were recognised by the London College of Music , where she was appointed Chief Examiner (Asia-Pacific) for Music & Speech subjects , and awarded the Honorary Membership of the College .

She is now Co-Director of the A & M Wilkinson School of Music & Drama in Singapore .
